Welcome to the ultimate guide to building $10,000 websites with Chat GPT. Take a look at these websites. I've built each one of them just using Chat GPT. And in this video, I'm going to show you exactly how to easily build and publish premium websites just like these step-by-step.
Each of these sites tells a short story as you scroll. This one is for a small headphones brand where someone grabs the headphones off a table and walks out into the city. This one is for a restaurant where the camera crosses a rainy street, glides through the front door, and stops right at your table. This one is for a chocolate studio where ribbon of melted chocolate splashes down and becomes a sculpture. And this one is for a garden designer where the camera drops from
above the rooftops, through the trees, and into a hidden garden. So, how were they made? With a free skill that I built just for this video. Once you install it, Chat GPT walks you through the whole process. It works like a design agency inside Chat GPT. It asks you a few simple questions about your business. It researches what your real customers care about. It pitches you ideas for your opening scene. Then it
builds the site and tests it in a real browser on computers and phones. It fixes what's broken, and it even puts the site online for you. All you have to do is answer questions and pick what you like. You don't need any coding or design skills, so literally anyone can do this. The whole process comes down to five simple steps.
First, we'll set up Chat GPT and install the free skill. I'll also show you how to get results like these on any budget. Second, you'll answer a few questions about your business and pick your favorite idea. Third, we'll create the moving opening scene that makes these sites look so expensive. Fourth, we'll score your site against the $10,000 checklist and polish it until it looks great on computers and phones. And finally, we'll put your site live on your own custom domain.
Every step is timestamped below. But first, you need to know what actually makes a website look like it's worth $10,000. There are eight things and the skill takes care of every one of them. These are the eight things that separate a $10,000 website from a $200 one.
Point of view means the site has a clear personality. Typography means the fonts are chosen on purpose. On these sites, the headline even moves with the film. Color means a small set of colors used with care. Hierarchy means your eye knows exactly where to look first.
Imagery means custom images instead of stock photos. Motion means movement that feels smooth and never gets in the way. Mobile means it looks as good on a phone as it does on a computer. And polish is all the small details that make a site feel fast and finished.
You don't have to remember any of this. The skill checks all eight while it builds and it scores your site on each one. The checklist is free in the description below. We'll score the first version against it and then score it again after we polish it.
We're building in the Chat GPT desktop app because the website version can't work with files on your computer. I've left a direct link to the download page in the description below. Use that link to open that page, then download the app for your computer, install it, and then sign in or create an account. Now, I want to point out before we go too far, AI technology changes really quickly. Software gets updated all the time. So, by the time
you're watching this, a button might be in a different place, the labels might be different, and that's okay. That's expected. You can still follow along with everything I'm going to show you today. The general flow stays the same, but the visuals might be different. You need a paid plan for this.
Unfortunately, the free plan doesn't include Codex, the part of Chat GPT that builds things on your computer. So, find and click the upgrade button. Chat GPT Go is the cheapest plan, but it doesn't include Codex either. So, the minimum is plus at $20 a month.
I'm on Pro at $100 a month because it lets me use the top model for much longer. On Plus, the build may just take you longer. You can pay for 1 month and cancel when you're done if you want to. I'll check out off-screen. Now, switch from ChatGPT to Codex in the top left menu.
Codex is the part of ChatGPT that builds things. It writes the code into a folder on your computer. So, on your computer, create a new folder for your website. I'll call mine Holden Audio website. In Codex, click choose project, pick that new folder, and click create project. If it asks you to trust the folder, say yes.
Now, set the model to the top one available. A model is the AI brain that does the work. Today, as I'm recording, the top one is GPT-6.1 Soul, but you can use whatever the newest top model is while you're watching.
I also set the effort to ultra, so it does its best work. If you ever hit your limit, everything is saved. Come back to the same chat when it resets and say continue. ChatGPT can already build a website on its own, but AI websites tend to look alike. They use the same fonts, the same layouts, and the same safe colors. A skill fixes that. A skill is a set of expert instructions ChatGPT reads before
it starts a task. I built a free skill for this video, and it's what makes these sites look expensive. First, we install the skill. You only do this once, and then it's ready for every website you build. I've left a link in the description below that'll take you to the skill on GitHub. Go ahead and open that link. That'll take you to this page here. You'll see you're on the Medix Media 10K Websites GitHub repo.
Simply scroll down the page until you see the install section, then click the download link. It says 10k websites.zip. That'll open your file picker, so go ahead and pick a place to save the skill. That's all you need to do here on this page.
Now back in ChatGPT, drag in that 10k websites zip to your chat, and simply say, "Install this skill." Then send it. You don't need to unzip the folder or anything. ChatGPT will install the skill for you. This can take a few minutes. When it's done, you'll get a confirmation like this that says it installed the 10k websites skill and verified everything. Now start a new chat in your website folder. To do this,
hover next to your project name and click the new chat button. Now, in the chat window, type a forward slash, then type 10k, and select your 10k website skill. You don't need to type anything else, just go ahead and send that as a message.
The first thing it does is check your computer for the tools it needs. If you have your permissions mode set to approve for me, it'll go ahead and grab any of the tools it needs automatically. If instead you have it set to ask for approval, ChatGPT will ask you for permission to install the tools. If it does this, read what it wants to do and click approve. Here you can see I have four of the five tools it needs for this project. But your computer might be missing Node.js or FFmpeg. That's pretty normal, just follow the steps. These are
two free tools that run in the background. One prepares the video for your website, and the other lets you preview the site on your computer. You'll never have to touch them personally. From here, ChatGPT asks some questions, and you'll pick the answers.
Here it asks if I have an OpenArt account. That's the platform this skill will use to make images and the opening film. I'll go ahead and type one because I need one, and hit send. The last tool on the list is OpenArt. ChatGPT can make images, but it can't make video. So, for the moving opening scene, we need a video model. OpenArt has many of the top image and video models in one place, and Chat GPT can use it directly. It also
saves your Chat GPT limit. Images made inside Chat GPT use up your limit much faster, and OpenArt uses its own credits instead. If you don't have an OpenArt account yet, and you tell that to Chat GPT, it'll give you a link where you can click to sign up directly. Go ahead and right click it and click open in external browser. Or, if for some reason you don't get that link from Chat GPT, you can also use the direct link in the video description below. OpenArt has monthly plans with different amounts of
credits. They do have a free account, but it only gives you 40 credits, which isn't nearly enough credits for an opening scene like the one we're going to make. How many credits you need depends on the models and the quality you choose. You'll pick that in a few minutes. Our site uses OpenArt's strongest models on their highest quality. So, I'm going to pick the plus plan, and I'll go ahead and pay monthly for it instead of annually. But, if you want to go for a cheaper build, you can use the starter plan, too. Just keep in
mind, if you run out of credits, they don't let you top up the starter plan. If you choose the plus plan, and you run out of credits, you can simply use their top-up function to add as many credits as you need without upgrading to a higher tier. So, I'll go ahead and click get started for the plus plan. It'll prompt you to sign in or create an account. So, I'll go ahead and click sign up for free, and I'll use my email to sign up.
It'll send a code to your email. Go ahead and grab that code from your inbox, then head back to OpenArt, and plug it in. And click create account. You might be routed into an onboarding survey. You can fill that out, or click the X in the upper right. Now that we're all signed up and logged in, we can actually subscribe to the plan we want. So, I'll go ahead and toggle to monthly, and click subscribe on the plus plan.
That'll route you into a checkout page. Go ahead and complete the transaction. I'll do this off screen, and meet you on the next page. Once you're all signed up, you might be prompted to add more seats, but you can just close out of that dialogue. All All right, we're all signed up. Let's head back to Chat GPT.
It gave me the instruction here to say signed up when you're ready, so that's what we'll send. After a minute, Chat GPT will open up the OpenArt authorization screen in your browser. What we're doing here is letting Chat GPT use your OpenArt account for you, and you can remove the access anytime in your OpenArt settings.
So, go ahead and click allow access. You'll get a confirmation saying authentication is complete, and you can close the window. So, we'll do that, and then return to Chat GPT. Chat GPT will give you confirmation that OpenArt is connected and show your balance. Here, it can see that I have a balance of 12,000 credits.
