So, today's video is about workshop workers. We discussed part 1 in our last video. If you haven't seen that, please do watch it. In this video, God willing, we'll cover the tools that come up in the computer test, about 5 or 6 tools appear in the paper, this number varies.
So whatever tools come up, I've shared them with you in this video. If you're new to the channel, please subscribe. Thank you. Let's start our video. First, we have a welding machine. It's basically used for cutting metal, joining iron and such.
Next we have, question number 2, a MIG welding machine. This basically uses a current wire to perform the welding. Next, question number 3, this is a TIG welding machine.
It is used for fine and clean welding, like for smaller welding jobs. Next we have question number 4, this is an oxyacetylene cutting torch. This is also used for cutting iron, for cutting metal.
Next we have a spark lighter. It's a spark igniter, used to light gas, to light the torch. Next we have question number 6. This is a propane torch.
It is used for heating and soldering, okay? For heating anything, or for heating metal. Next we have a welding clamp set. It's used to hold the work firmly. Like, you use this to firmly grip things when you're welding.
Next, we have a bench vise. It's used to hold workpieces. Next up is AC clamp.
This is used to hold flat items straight. After that, we have a magnetic welding clamp. It keeps the angle right, making sure it's not crooked. Next, we have a pipe welding clamp.
It's used to hold pipes. When you're cutting a pipe, you clamp it first, then cut it. After that, we have a ground clamp. The ground clamp, we use it for earth connections. Next, we have a wire brush.
You use it to remove rust and grime that's built up on surfaces. This is useful. Next, we have a chipping hammer. This is to remove weld slag, like right after welding, you set it with the hammer.
Next we have cleaning brushes. These are cleaning brushes. We use these to clean machines and other parts. Next, we have F clamps.
These are for holding wood or metal. Next we have a digital caliper. When you need a small cut, and a precise measurement that you can't get with tape, use this.
Next, we have a steel roller. This is basically used to measure length. Next, we have a combination square, used for 45 and 90 degree angles, mainly when cutting pipes or making angles.
Next, we have a speed square. It's also used to mark angles, to see how much of an angle and how much your pipe is bending on the angle. Next up is a height gauge. It is used for measuring height to measure its height.
Besides that, we have a dial indicator, used to check machine alignment. Whether the machine alignment you're doing is correct or not. Next, we have, after that, a feeler gauge, used for gripping wood and villages, etc.
Next is a laser level. It is used for finding straight lines, you know it is used for checking straightness. Next is an angle grinder. An angle grinder is basically used for cutting and grinding, anything which is to be cut, so metal cutting can be done with this.
Next we have a surface plate. It's for accurate measurement, to keep the plate planer. Next, we have a bench grinder. This is used for sharpening.
Tools and grinding materials being used, especially those used during welding, we can sharpen them with it. Next, we have a drill press, which is basically used for making straight holes.
Next, we have the hydraulic press. It's for increasing pressure, meaning pressure is applied to it. Any metal placed between is fully pressed to straighten it. Next, we have the manual lathe machine.
It rotates and is used for cutting metal. Meaning, it's used to cut metal as it rotates. Next, we have the milling machine. It's used to create flat surfaces and shapes, basically. Whenever metal needs to be designed, this machine is used.
Next, we have the CNC milling machine. This is an automated machine, meaning, the shape you want to design for the metal is programmed in, and then it designs it itself. Next, we have the surface grinder.
The surface grinder is basically used to smooth surfaces. After that, we have the anvil. It's basically used to measure metal, sorry, it's used to hammer metal. Next, we have the power hammer.
It's used for forging, meaning, when more metal power is needed, the power hammer is used, it's used for forging. After that, we have the forge, what is it? It's used for heating metal. Like when hot metal is needed, or it needs to be heated for cutting, or if its shape needs to be changed, then it needs hot metal, so then we use the forge.
Next, we have the forging tongs. These tongs are used to grip hot metal when you're welding or cutting it.
Next, we have a bending fork. This is used to bend metal. Next up, a twisting wrench. It's basically for twisting. Iron, like rebar. Next, we have a wrench.
Set. We use these different wrenches to tighten or loosen nuts. That concludes today's video, God willing. In the next video, we'll cover the remaining tools relevant to the NEPTA tests and workshop worker tests.
God willing, in the next video, we will discuss this in detail, including the practical aspects, what questions are asked in the practical, and how you're expected to perform it. So kindly subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. For now, goodbye. God bless.
