Notwithstanding all of this wickedness that was carried out in the name of Jesus Christ and by His church, there is hope. I want to tell you about a righteous watchman on the tower.
I've never met this person. He's never said a word to me. But I'm very observant. I watch very closely the movements going on in the corporation around me and around my mission. And there's a man named Jack Gerard who was serving at the time these critical decisions were being made as the executive director of the church communication department, which means his voice would have been listened to, and in this case, clearly was rejected.
He's a man of integrity. All his colleagues say that. That's what he's known for, integrity. And because he's a PR genius, he was put in as the PR director. And so I assume he was in that capacity or something like that when the decisions were being made as to whether we should destroy Tim Ballard's life with a lie or not.
I only could imagine that he fought for me, not so much for me, for Jesus. Fought for the integrity of his church. Fought the people who would rather follow the ideology as a lukewarm and use the name of Jesus to hurt the Ballard family, to destroy them.
They knew this would destroy my chances at the Senate. He knew that, and he would have stood up for me, and I think he did. And why do I think that? Well, for two reasons. Shortly after the decision was made to destroy my life through a tabloid magazine, he got mysteriously swept away to Europe.
It's like the Chateau d'Eve. And the kind amount of crystal those who were ashamed of. I assure you I am innocent. I really do know. You mock me? No, my dear Dantes.
I know perfectly well that you are innocent. Why else would you be here? If you were truly guilty, there are a hundred prisons in France where they would lock you away. But Chateau d'Eve is where they put the ones they were ashamed of.
Like Kevin Pearson for bad, or Jack Gerard for good. I guess that's where you go. Again, a left hook from Jesus comes around in April of 2024, just months after the decision was made, and who is giving the conference talk? Jack Gerard.
Now, I don't know what his intent was, but we'll find out through discovery. Because his talk was very interesting. It's called Integri. A Christ-like attribute. And you know what he said in that talk?
If you listen carefully and you know the story that I'm looking at in the lens of mine, he is talking to the church. And he says a lot of interesting things, that integrity is not something that you can compromise. And he says this.
As the church comes out of obscurity and darkness, we must rise above the worldly expectations and become the face of the true and living God. Our focus is on the Savior.
And we are careful to avoid actions that may be perceived as serving our own interests or favoring someone at the expense of another. We will out of our way to avoid any perception that our actions may be influenced by the honors of men.
Some organizations train employees to consider what their decisions or decision-making process would look like if published online or on the front page of a major newspaper. He says the decisions you make and the process you use to make a decision because someday that will be a headline.
And will you be embarrassed? I think he's talking about what happened just months earlier. And I would say he's prophetic except he got one thing wrong. It's not just going to be headlines. It's going to be Sound of Freedom 2.
It's going to be a docu-series by Lionsgate. It's going to be an international best-selling book. This is a news cycle that never ends. But you know what Desert Book did? There's good people in there and I love them. Without me asking within a month of the excommunication they gave me back my IP for all my books.
Why would you give the IP back to a man who's been denounced by the church who used the name of a prophet to do immoral things? I can tell you that authors, even in good standing don't get their IP back. That's the business decision that makes sense.
But they gave mine back to me because they knew that life was a lie. They knew. So why don't I leave? That's the question. Believe me, I know how law fair works. They can't believe that I figured this out.
They can't believe I survived. I was supposed to have either killed myself run off to Alaska and start a charter fishing company or turned into a John DeLyn type figure and become an anti-theft so they could discredit me. I didn't do any of those things.
I believe. I believe in the foundation. I believe in the revelations. I believe in the scriptures of the restoration. I would die first before rejecting that testimony. These are another three reasons why I can't leave.
I'm republishing these books. Thank you, Deseret Book, for giving back my IP so I can republish these. But I'm changing the title to something like why Abraham Lincoln won't let me leave the church. Why George Washington won't let me leave the church.
Why the pilgrims won't let me leave the church. That's why I'm not going to leave the church. Do not leave the vineyard. Stay. Get more recruits to come in. Fulfill beautiful prophecy. We need servants.
We need the residue of the watchman, the good ones, to work with the servants. And we need to get the lukewarm's out. Here's the good news. Even if you are following the ideology of lukewarm, today, tomorrow, you can be a servant. I know the Gospel is true.
I stand by everything I wrote. And because I know it's true, I have become the worst nightmare to those who follow the order of the lukewarm's. I didn't follow the script. I survived. And I lived to tell the story.
