All right, we're back with another one of these videos. This time we're against Yone and Yone with exhaust is a bit of a hard match up for Shen, I will say. The reason is if you ever fully commit onto Yone while he has exhaust up he'll exhaust you mid combo and then you don't do any damage. And then after the exhaust resolves, you're already on top of Yone and then he's going to just stat check you with lethal tempo. So it's kind of a match up where you can't really

afford to take like super extended trades just because you're going to lose it cuz lethal tempo is just really strong in the one v one, right? So yeah, for this match up specifically you kind of have to respect Yone exhaust or just exhaust in general because Shen's only real way to trade onto some champions is to fully commit taunt, right? Uh and if you fully commit taunt, you get exhausted and you commit everything and

it's really hard to out trade you're going to lose the trade. Anyways, yeah. So we'll see how see what I can show you guys here. He does have bone plating, that's fine. We're going to walk up with our passive shield.

It's okay. Get his bone plating out. It's going to be good. He can auto Q into us there. Okay, nice. Very good. Well, we take that. Unlucky. It's okay. Yep, again, I'm not going to fully walk into him there because he has exhaust up. Just going to respect it.

We'll play for level two here if possible. But he might have level two first, which means I have to kind of respect it. Yeah, just going to back off a little bit. Have level two. Ideally I want to wait for level three to fully trade. Also, I'm missing a lot of CS. Oops. He's probably going to ward. That's fine.

Uh yeah, I want to wait for level three because if I fully commit taunt here, I might not be able to kill him and I might get run down afterwards, so. Going to play patiently. Dodge that.

Okay, that's fine. Again, I'm playing a level down, so I don't want to actually trade into him too much there. Just take the uh bit of poke from him and then just back off. So, we're going to walk down and dodge

his Q. This is fine, honestly. All right, he walks up, he's going to die here. If he Q's forward, we we we can kill him. Honestly, this is okay cuz we can hopefully flash walk behind him to make sure he doesn't hit W and then auto him to death.

So, really good for us. Uh only problem is I need to shove in this wave really quickly because I need to make sure I got my back off. Yeah, you you just got to play like kind of collected and uh don't don't rush things in this match up.

All right. First kill, get the wave in. He doesn't lose that much off of it, but it's still better than nothing. Still quite good for us. So, there's kind of a few avenues you can take to build into Yone. Um if you're really worried that he gets life steal early and if you want to preemptively build Bork, it's okay, but if you have ignite, I don't recommend it. Um if you're really worried about losing into Yone, uh you can get an early Warden's Mail and kind of negate basically all the damage, but if you do that, just be warned, you're going to be a lot weaker. It's going to

take a lot longer for you to hit your power spike with Titanic. So, Warden's Mail Warden's Mail is really good for surviving lane, but it's not so good for kind of snowballing your advantage. Um if you're ahead and you're confident going Titanic versus always good. Just make sure that um once he gets Bork, you have to respect him until you get armor because that's he he will stat check you 100%.

Dodge that. Dodge downwards. Get his bone plating. Very nice. All right, I'm just going to let the wave push into us here. I don't want to take too much damage. We are We have a lot better buy than him. We're up like 700 gold in terms of items, which is very good. Probably trying to bait me to use my taunt there, but there's kind of no point. I want to collect the CS.

Get my grasp stacks up here as well. This is fine for us.

We have our adaptive potion here, too. Oh, I Oh my god, I missed the cannon. I wasn't paying attention to that, honestly.

Oops, my bad. Yeah, I should never miss those. That's kind of kind of my fault, I guess. Um, I think here because we have such a big advantage, we're going to try to play for ourselves unless it's a really really obvious ult uh because I want to main- maintain my advantage. We're only up like probably like a a third of a level.

He just ticked over level six, so not that far ahead yet. Yeah, get his bone plating out. That was a weird uh Yeah. Dodge all his autos.

They run the edge of that. I should have potted up. I think I might even killed him with ignite, but we're going to hard shove this lane right now. Feedback is good for us. That was really clean right there. We didn't even barely take any damage. I I actually kind of broke his ankles, honestly. All right, we're going to hard shove this here.

Possible. Also, you don't have to worry about getting the CS too much. You just got to make sure the wave crashes because you just want to make sure that Yone loses stuff, basically. Uh I got to be careful. I don't know where Wukong is, so I should actually kind of respect him here.

I don't need to back yet. There's nothing for me I I could have spent my 1K, actually. Maybe I should have backed. It's all right, though. Yeah, get his bone plating. Don't want to fully trade into that.

Again, I got to watch out for exhaust. That's the uh that's a big factor in this matchup. Yeah, Wukong is top here. It's fine. We're not in range to get ulted. Just place though.

I mean, he's just going to ult out. There's kind of no point in this. I mean, the wave is really good for me.

I don't want to do anything that's too risky here. Just going to double you this to maybe get some minion damage as well. Yep, so again, we're not we're not uh perma killing Yone, but that's not really easy to do with Shen. You want to just push him out of lane, really.

So, he used the ult, we know that. He has exhaust back up. I can play for level eight. I'm going to walk past the wave here. Perfect. Uh I don't lose any minions This is really good for us.

All right, we're just going to let the wave push into us here and just back. Perfect. Um my Wukong is dead. I will not be saving him for this. Actually, I could, but Orianna Orianna's there. No, I will not do that. Play for ourselves. I know I know it looks tempting to save him there, but it really it really up your tempo if you try to save Zilean.

So, you might be able to kill Wukong, but um Orianna's there. You could risk dying to that. You know he's respawning. Uh and then you don't you it's going to be a really awkward back because right now when I show when I back there, I show back I show back in lane at the perfect time. Like I don't lose anything, right?

Like sometimes it's okay to let your teammates die. I feel like that's like a kind of very a very important thing to note on on Shen. Like if it if it's not a good ult, you don't always have to just press ult probably, you know. I got cool down.

Mhm, I got I got to be careful here actually. All right, we're fine. That's my bad. I completely forgot about lethal tempo there. I don't know why, but it's okay. Who needs flash, right? I look you got like super cocky, but yeah.

Lethal tempo's pretty nasty, I will say. All right, but we're up two levels here, up uh 15 CS as well. Quite good. I think I should just take a quick back here. I won't lose too much here even if he only pushes the wave in. We have boots.

He's probably just going to let it push into him, I assume, not hit the wave. Uh everything's winning so far too, which is very nice. Besides, I guess mid's a little bit behind. I hope I don't lose that cannon though.

Want to get in range to release the XP. Okay, I got the XP at least. That's fine. Yeah, a good Yone will always keep you kind of at arm's length. It is very hard to hit him once he gets some items and attack speed.
