I asked AI what font I should use which is like on brand and it literally recommended fat face. Like literally is that so rude? I was like okay no it's one thing to be like body shamed by the swifts. I'm not being body shamed by the clankers.
Okay, welcome back to episode five of They think they're so cool. >> Lucky number five. I'm one more vice >> and I'm Scott is sexy. Okay, so the biggest news blowing up the podcast world this week is the H3 podcast Ethan Klein Hilocline Tamara cheating scandal.
>> Yes. >> So I had never heard of this podcast before. Then last week it was blew up all over my timeline. So apparently the H3 podcast is a really big podcast. Ethan Klein, the main guy, has been making YouTube videos for like 10 years.
Has a really big audience. I guess he started making comedy sketches and reaction videos and stuff like that. So, uh, you know, he's a YouTube OG. And then the H3 podcast was huge because of this. So, they do live streaming and all of this stuff. But it came out that allegedly Ethan Klein cheated on his wife, Hila Klein, who was on the podcast as well with this girl, Tamara, who is
also on the podcast. So, Tamara is uh supposedly a super fan of the show. Then she ended up being hired on the show and that was like in sometime in 2025. But now there are allegations or rumors that Ethan knew her as far back as maybe 2023 and they were in contact. So a it's super interesting that I had no idea. I' never heard of this podcast, but it has a huge audience. People are really
invested in this drama. Like people have grown up with this whole Ethan Klein and H3 verse. Um, you know, some people started watching these people when they were 9 or 10 years old and now they're, you know, adults and their world is being rocked by this cheating scandal.
People are posting on Reddit. They're fully in, you know, meltdown mode being like, "Ethan, how could you do this? My world is shattered. You know, I don't believe in anything anymore." But the H3 podcast is really interesting because it's like it it's like a like there's like 15 people on it. There's every time I see clips, it cuts to like some other character. There's so many people on this podcast and now there are rumors that um perhaps
it was an open secret on the show that Ethan was getting with Tamara. U there's allegations that maybe like it was a dead bedroom situation with he and he and Hila. Um there's allegations that Tamara may be pregnant because so Tamara has her own streams as well. So, she's on the H3 podcast, which is like way bigger than her. Uh, but then she has her own streams where she like, you know, sits in her her room and talks to
the camera. So, people are clipping that, too, and matching up timelines. So, apparently, supposedly she's gained some weight and they're saying, "Is she pregnant?" Uh, a rumor came out on Reddit that somebody claimed that two people on the show were pregnant.
Somebody claimed that Tamara had actually been inappropriate with another host on the show that wasn't Ethan, another married host. So, there's so much drama. And the amazing part of this is like, okay, it's a cheating scandal, but there's so much to work with. People can go back and clip all of the live streams, all the podcasts, and kind of put this together like a like a puzzle.
And obviously, you know, I don't want to have too much levity about it cuz people's lives are involved, but it's it is just so funny because also people outside of the whole Ethan Klein universe are now getting a chance to look at this pod because of the attention on it, because of the scandal, and they're like, "Is this podcast any good?" Like, people are like, "What's going on here?" Like, this is just, you know, lame kind of boring uh chatter.
So, it's kind of wild to see how big of an audience that they have, but I guess, you know, if you have just a decade to build uh build a fan base and, you know, you bring people people along with you, it's crazy how big things can get. >> It's basically [snorts] the podcast world, Scandaval. And there is nothing like a cheating scandal that brings in new fans. Cuz think about how many people started watching Vanderpump after Scandal. Think about how many people
started watching Summerhouse. >> That's so true. after the Weston Amanda situation. >> Actually, with the Weston Amanda situation, like people so many people were talking about that, including like >> guys like that you might not even expect to be Bravo fans necessarily. Like it really it it's very true. A nothing like a cheating scandal to uh to bring some heat on a franchise.
>> Nothing like literally having I mean it has everything cuz it has like the marriage breaking up. Isn't it also like a workplace issue considering he was the boss?
>> Um, and I'm assuming Hila was her boss as well, >> right? >> So, not that it's exactly a me too situation, but >> it definitely brings in some complexities. >> Oh, yeah. And they wear, you know, they dress up, they do different costumes for the podcast episodes and stuff like that. And one [snorts] time Ethan dressed Hila and Tamara up as Thing One and Thing Two.
Going back to Scandal, people were like, "Okay, ladies, pay attention to what your man dresses up as for Halloween because if you remember, Tom Sandaval dressed as Raquel when he was still with Ariana." >> Oh, right.
>> And that was in the midst of >> cheaters do like there's this desire to like telegraph. >> Exactly. Desperate desperate behavior, >> but people are clipping everything and going into the minutia between like, oh, is this like a moment between >> Hila and Tamara? Was this a moment between Tamara and Ethan? One time like Tamara brought in Ethan's water bottle or vice versa. There's one.
>> It's funny because there's some that are probably legitimate. Like there are probably some tells, but now you're going back and you're looking at it from a different lens. What's interesting about this though is comparing it to the Scandaval situation and the West and Amanda. We watched the seasons differently, but also producers then likely went back and re-edited things.
So, this one where it's already out there and it's already kind of been edited a certain way. It's not like we're going to get a retelling of it, if you know what I mean, >> right? No. True. Unless somebody goes back and puts together a true documentary and sits everyone down and is like, you know, what happened?
>> Exactly. I've also noticed that there's quite a few people who are arguing in the comments because people are posting clips and they're saying essentially like, aha, this is like when he got this text and then other people are like, "This clip was actually from a completely different time. This had nothing to do with this." And they're like fighting back and forth being like, "Now everyone's trying to be a sheep detective.
Totally. Totally. Great Sheep Detective reference. >> Got to throw it in. >> I can't wait to watch Sheep Detective. Actually, I've only seen the trailer, but I'm like that that's a movie I could get into. >> Oh my gosh, they had Wolverine playing Sheep Detective, first of all. Crazy.
But >> that's up there with like just taking edibles and watching like whatever new Trolls movie is out. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So, but I'm I'm interested to see what happens with uh this H3 situation because there's obviously people's lives and relationships on the line. There's also a lot of money on the line because these are big media properties and you know, Ethan put out a statement that he was going to do his best to transfer all of his ownership of everything over to everybody else so that you know his actions wouldn't affect um you know, the rest of
>> I find that almost a little bit suspicious. I don't know. Again, I am on the outside of all of this, so like the true fans absolutely correct me. But I do find it a little bit suspicious that now all of a sudden he's like, "No, like I don't want to impact like Hila and the crew. You guys keep doing like I'm completely backing away." Unless what he did >> was so egregious like if he is literally
going to be having a child with her. But if he was a huge part in building it, I'm surprised there isn't more of like I mean and there likely are conversations happening behind the scenes and even if he is going to be stepping away, I mean, who knows? Maybe his PR crisis management was like this is the only way you're going to get out of this. But uh I also read something about how initially he said it wasn't anything
physical. It was just emotional and then kind of more came out after the fact. Um, but honestly, such desperate behavior, like, okay, so like a super fan is paying attention to you and you're going to like just be like, "Oh my god." And even I mean, you mentioned the dead bedroom situation. I've been seeing that discourse online. People are saying like, "Oh, they slept in different bedrooms." But quite frankly, that's not an excuse. If you wanted to
leave the relationship, just leave the relationship. You don't have to get with thing two, >> right? you know, >> well, and then other characters are getting involved in sounding off, too. So, for example, there's a big crossover between the H3 podcast and Ethan Klein and this influencer YouTuber named Trisha Pas. I think that's how you pronounce her last name. Have you ever heard of her?
>> Yeah, of course. >> Okay. So, they have a big rivalry or, you know, sort of a complicated relationship, let's say, cuz I think they had a podcast together called Frenemies or something like that. I'm going to have to look up the spec the specifics of that. I haven't gone quite uh deep enough uh in this world to like know every detail at this point. So, I saw a video by Trisha Pas talking about the whole situation and she has a new book out too, which is perfect timing uh
to be talking about this. And then like Hila's brother was interviewed and so Hila and her brother are estranged and so he's talking about this on a clip and saying, you know, it's probably not going to change anything because I think he so he was in the IDF, but supposedly Ethan and Hila like lied about what he did and what his involvement was to
maybe like jin it up a bit more because they're kind of like pro- Israel. And so there's been controversy about, you know, about that. And uh so there's just so many aspects to this situation. It's like I had no idea this, you know, that they even existed. And now suddenly there's this massive scam.
>> No, now all of a sudden I know every detail. Like I know when their anniversary was. Then I know when it was like Tamara/Tamara, like whatever her name is. And I know it was her birthday. And then like days later like this Hila character like fled to Israel and I was like why is Israel coming into this like anyways >> and it's also showing like some of cuz people are clipping other stuff too so it's showing some of the behind the scenes of like the podcast production in
