So, is the brand new Borussia Dortmund club pack worth it? It's 1,500 coins. We're going to show you gameplay. We're going to show you the best way of setting up this squad to dominate. And of course, we're going to show you what players are actually worth building. Let's get straight into it. So, we're going to start with some raw gameplay.
And the very first clip that you guys are going to see is going to be the best and worst of playing with possession or out wide currently with the current meta and the current gameplay, right? You will see that we lose possession, we get ripped apart, massive gaps at the back, and we do nearly concede a goal. And that couldn't change the game quite a bit. And obviously, with this new manager Koller which has got 90 possession game and 89 out wide, both of these defensive play styles are super open at the back. What do I mean by this? Well, when you play out wide,
right? The players The best thing about out wide or out possession games the players are so elusive and they do a lot with the AI. The AI makes some very nice runs for you. However, the con of that or the negative of that is that when you lose the ball out wide, and a lot of people don't like holding the ball out wide because of this and you kind of are forced to go central. But, when you lose the ball out wide and you don't actually, you know, make a goal from it or whatever, you do potentially have the massive gap there appearing that you see with the big red arrow. And if you're
not aggressive and if you're not a good manual defender, possession game can really, really rinse you apart, right? And that's why a lot of people are using long ball counter because it does kind of stop those gaps from appearing. However, if you actually are able to master possession or master out wide, you can dominate players that are used to defending centrally and they don't know what to do when you actually hold the ball for them, right? So, you'll see here, we just start rinsing. We start literally creating so many gaps out wide, big switches, looking for space.
This is probably the best goal that we score with out wide or with possession game. It's a rinsing, a little bit of individual magic, and then the finish. But, it's all about the switch from Doku starting it on the left flank and being spread out, right? And you'll see this time and time again. Look at the gaps that are here. Doku's already decided, right? We're playing possession game, I'm going to move forward. I'm going to get into a a really difficult to track position for the defender, and this is obviously what you have to do. Now, I get it, right? All wide is fun to play, but it's definitely not overpowered. So,
you have to make it overpowered yourself by choosing the right, you know, decision, and you have to be able to be clued in as to what your opponent is giving you. If he's giving you tap backs, if he's giving you blitz counters, you have to be able to exploit that, right? So, I do feel like in this situation that you're seeing here with the raw gameplay, you know, we're getting a lot of different, you know, varied goals. Nmecha there. We'll have feature him in a second because he is an absolute beast, but I do think to get the best out of this squad, you do have to be quite aggressive, and I do still
think that quick counter is the ultimate attacking formation, but this setup is really really nice if you want to go super offensive. Also, for the players, okay? Schlotterbeck is really really good. Nmecha is really really good. Svensson, the left-back, is really good. There's some nice players here.
Goralski, of course, as well. I do feel like that a couple of the players that you're seeing here, Schlotterbeck is probably my selection of them. I mean, he's an absolute monster. You guys remember last year, or if you didn't, Eto'o got to the World Finals with Dortmund. Dortmund have some really strong players. They have a couple of players that are unbelievably effective in the game. Nmecha's there as well, and obviously with Kovac's boost and his playing style with the key man and obviously being the ball control as
an advantage here, players like Nmecha turn in from like kind of like this lumbering DMF or CMF to kind of like a Bellingham-esque kind of dancing center midfielder that can drive on. Super super good at passing, dribbling, movement is really really tight, and defensively he's good as well. Good leg leg length player model. I think he's probably the pick of them, to be fair. I mean, listen, you're probably going to be spending 1,500 coins for the manager, and if you have possession, possession
works with the really strong cards, right? If you can use the cards like this, obviously this is an unbelievably stacked squad um that we played with the other day on Abdo's account, but I mean, if you've got the best of the best players, possession game is super, super fun because the players are super elusive. They make unreal runs. I think possession game right now is probably the easiest way of playing the game if you're good at the game. Long ball counter does hold your hand a little bit too much defensively, and you won't win that many games with varied goals. Yes,
you can win two or three nil with long ball counter. Of course, you can. If you just kind of rinse and repeat and play meta and do a lot of, you know, intricate one-two passes, triangles, cutbacks, touching goals. Yes, you can win three, four, five, six nil and dominate somebody. Is it worth 1,500 coins? That's pretty much what you're going to be getting. The Mesha, yes, he's not going to replace the likes of Vieira or any of those. He is good.
Schlutterbeck for free-to-play is really good. If you've been saving up coins for a big spin or a big pack, 1,500 coins isn't a lot if you've been saving free-to-play. It is worth it if you want two, you know, bonafide stars in your squad that are beasts. And obviously, a really good manager as well. But, yeah, for me at the moment, I'm still favoring quick counter. But, let me know what you guys think. Obviously, possession is super, super fun to use right now as well, and it's very OP in the right hands. I will talk to you later. Let me know what you think.
