Welcome, a very warm welcome to the third day of our challenge. I'm back, aren't I, folks? Today we're going to talk about something that most people spend their whole lives avoiding, which is death. And we're also going to talk about the meaning of life. I know it might seem heavy, especially for the third day of our challenge, but I really need to bring this to you and you will understand why.

In a few minutes. Okay. Before we get there, let me ask a question that seems simple, but it isn't. Who gave you the identity you carry today? Yesterday, right in the last video, we talked about inherited mental models.

About what was recorded in your mind before you were mature enough to question it. And today I want to go a step further. Because it's not just the mental models you inherited, it's the very way you see life, what you believe is important.

What you pursue, what makes you feel like you're on the right path, what makes you feel like you're failing. All of this was formed. You have a worldview that was formed. And know that this worldview, the way you see the world, it's yours alone.

Other people see the world in a very different way. And we can prove this when we talk about a situation with different people. Each one will see that situation in a different way.

Okay? All of this, as I said, was formed by someone at some point in an environment that you didn't choose. The question I want you to carry today is the following. What are you pursuing in your life that is truly yours?

Or is it what you were taught to value? Because there is a huge difference between living a life that is yours and living a life that is a response to the expectations and dreams of others. Between acting from what you genuinely believe to be true and good and acting from what was recorded in you rather than what you actually chose.

And here I need to tell you, right, what happened to me these past few days, I think, you know, right? Those who paid attention in the group who saw my stories know that my life was turned upside down, right? And this class here was already scheduled exactly as I am bringing this content to you.

It was already said to be the content for the third day of our challenge, but I hadn't recorded it yet. Exactly. And it came in handy, right? When, well, for those who don't know, I went with my husband to the emergency room and we thought it was something simple.

Once we got there, the internal rush began. Looking for a transfer because he needed the surgery right away, whether to do it or not, running here and there. In fact, my life changed completely at that moment. Everything turned upside down.

And I had many moments to reflect. There were many moments staring at the ceiling, at the wall, the shower curtain, right? And thinking precisely about this kind of thing, right? About the meaning of life, because life was moving a long, long, long way.

And out of nowhere, out of the absolute nothing without any warning, it changes and demands. In our case, right? It demands things from us that we weren't expecting. The following question kept coming to me.

Where are those urgent things, those commitments, those meetings, those videos you needed to record? Or that were recorded and needed to be edited and published? Those people who needed to be answered, you know?

The things you rush to do in your day-to-day life every single day that you can't leave. For tomorrow or later and for which you put aside many important things to get done. Well, where are those things at this moment? I simply put everything aside, right?

I left everything aside until we got home. And thank God I left it aside, right? Because some people can't stop even in those moments, can't understand the hierarchy of life, what really matters.

But for most sane people, when this kind of thing happens, we are able to see what truly matters, right? The value of others, the value of life, how our life is extremely fragile.

And that the smallest thing is capable of changing our entire life, our whole perspective on life. I honestly, it wasn't that long in the hospital, right? It wasn't, but I looked at that moment in my life and I had the impression that my life had been like that for a long time, you know?

When time doesn't pass or passes so slowly and you feel like you've been in that situation for a very long time. I started feeling that you feel extremely vulnerable, don't you? Because you reach a point there where there's nothing you can do.

It's to pray. All you can do is pray. And that's when we realize how much everything is really in God's hands. And especially at the time of this surgery, it was something that I didn't really understand what was happening, you know?

I knew what was going on. I knew the procedure, but, you know, there was nothing to be done. I couldn't be near. I couldn't see. I didn't know what was happening. The only one I could turn to was God, to our lady, which was exactly what I did.

And I'm bringing you this reflection because it's very relevant to this video of ours, right? For us to understand, even for our challenge, to understand what really matters in our life. Because sometimes we get the idea that the meaning of our life is in the pursuit of material goods in our work.

Sometimes we really undervalue those who are close to us, those who are in our daily lives, who are the ones who matter most. And sometimes we only realize the value, right? Of people when they slip away from us.

Or we realize the value of everyday things when they slip away from us. For example, when he was hospitalized, he couldn't even eat or drink water anymore. It was over 24 hours without being able to drink water. And his dream at that moment was to drink water.

I ended up doing a certain involuntary fast along with him because I didn't want to leave his side. And I remember very well the time when I went the next day to eat an egg sandwich with orange juice. My God, orange juice, you know?

After he had already returned from surgery and so on, he had even already eaten. I went down to do that and how that took on such a different glow. And many of the things that have great value in our lives, we don't notice.

Because they are always there, because they are available, because they are within our reach all the time, every moment. When we lose them, we look and say, wow, what I have in my daily life is worth a lot being able to take a shower, having water, being able to drink water, being able to have food right there, it's worth so much.

Wow. So that's why I want to bring all this reflection to you here. So I want to keep it just to myself, you know, so that you can also learn from my experience something that really knocks us off balance.

And has to shake us up so that we sometimes wake up a bit to some things in our lives. It's not that I didn't value my husband or the things of daily life, but we really manage to understand what truly has value.

As I said, it's not that work or material things don't have value, they do have value, but everything has to be in its proper place, right? I remember a video that I even want to react to, which is an older man talking to a young man, a young man saying, I'm unemployed, I have my wife and so on.

And, oh my God, starting out in life, you know that whole thing. And then this man, who already had a lot of money, was a millionaire, his wife had passed away. And then he says, I would give everything I have, everything I have to have a young wife to be unemployed and to still have time in my life, something I don't have anymore.
