Then you beat Path of Exile 2's hardest boss using nothing but basic attacks. To find out, I would have to take a skill you're supposed to replace after killing about 5 monsters and somehow turn it into an endgame build in solo self found.

But before we found out if that's even possible, let me explain the rules of this challenge. The rules are pretty simple. I can only use basic attacks. The gems are allowed but only if their effect is completely passive and obviously no minions.

The goal is to finish the campaign, reach endgame, defeat the Arbiter of Divinity and then somehow kill its Uber version. And to make things worse, we're doing all this in solo self found. No trading, every upgrade has to be dropped or craft by us.

So naturally, I expected the beginning of this challenge to be miserable. It wasn't. I genuinely thought the early game would be the hardest part. Basic attacks are supposed to suck.

We had no build yet, barely any gear and the newly kept throwing extra bosses at us through rituals. Except apparently, basic attacks were fucking cracked and I quickly discovered my new favorite strategy.

If a boss lets me stand completely still and smack it in the face like an idiot, I'm gonna do it. It looks so dumb and I love it. I know, I know. My mechanics are flawless. The mud borough gave us our first real taste of what this league could throw at us.

After killing the devourer, we clicked the ritual and immediately had to fight two more bosses back to back. And somehow, it still wasn't a problem. Look at this absolute specimen. Afterward, we picked up a quarter staff and a pretty nice energy shield chest.

Now, I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but if I'm playing a warrior, I'm not wearing energy shield gear. You do you, but ain't no way there will be some late game, disgusting energy shield build on my warrior.

The quarter staff, however, was temporarily acceptable because it almost doubled our damage. Then Renly gave us our first support gem, Rapid Attack 1, which gave us 15% faster attacks. From there, I entered my usual solo cell found goblin mode.

I picked up everything, and I mean everything. If some garbage item sold for 3 gold, it was coming home with me, because eventually this build had to stop being broken, right? Please enlighten me.

Are basic attacks just completely busted, or is the new league epically generous with loot and most characters are like this? Because look at this, what the fuck? He does not even have time to attack me.

Future chipper here. I'm currently recording my next challenge run, and these bosses are not supposed to be easier. I died at least 10 times in a row doing the first few bosses. After saving the hooded one, we headed towards Gramble Gas.

On the way, we killed a witch for our second support gem, Fire Attunement, giving us 25% as extra fire damage. And after spending a few passive points, we went from 66 to 92 dps, noise.

Which apparently was more than enough. The fuck is going on? This is the most bizarre thing ever. This is by far the strongest campaign start I've ever had in my entire POE2 career.

Who knew the goaded and best way to play POE2 was with basic attacks. I was starting to think all my future league starters might just be basic attack enjoyers. As a reward for that completely fair and balanced fight, we get a nice pair of gloves that pushed our damage even higher.

And shortly after, another quarter staff upgrade. At this point, upgrades were coming in so fast that I stopped keeping perfect track of every single dps increase. The important part was this.

We were still absolutely blasting. And then we killed the rotten druid, where the league continues to give us one of its nastier tricks, the 4 boss rituals. After a few ritual bosses, the game throws 4 of them at you back to back to back to back.

And if you're too slow, they can even start overlapping. And somehow, with basic attacks, that sounded less like a problem and more like a challenge. For me at least, it is extremely fun to do these, especially with our build.

Just look at this, it's...what the fuck? Somehow, we made it through the 4 boss ritual without much trouble. As a reward, we take the painter servant thorn gloves, but decide to not wear it since it is an energy based item and we're already so overpowered.

From there, we headed to the cemetery, where the game finally reminded us that we were in fact mortal. We almost died a few times in a row and definitely did not get saved by leveling up at the perfect moment. These cannon builds are always my guilty pleasures.

Shortly after, we found our first plus one to all melee skills, amulet. I wasn't even sure if it would affect basic attacks, but somehow it did, pushing our damage from 142 to 154, which is okay I guess.

And by the time we reached lockline, another upgrade had pushed us past 200 dps, which gave me an idea. But I just stand completely still and beat the 4 bosses in a row without doing anything else. So I tried it, brothers and brothers.

I'm under level, I'm rushing zones, I'm barely clearing anything, and somehow I'm just standing there and beating 4 bosses in a row with basic attacks. That got me thinking, how far into the campaign can I keep just doing this?

How long can I just stand still, face tank almost everything, and kill bosses without doing anything else? Crowbell was next in line to get that treatment. And get that treatment he did. I am not moving.

Even the king in a mist mostly got the same treatment, except for one tiny accident that definitely did not happen. We killed it with our now classic technique. For our first spirit gem, we took herald of ash, making monsters explode on death and helping a lot with our clearing speed.

And then the upgrade started getting stupid. A new quarterstaff took us from 231 to 332 dps, then we found some god tier gloves. We added a fire damage socket to our quarterstaff and threw some quality on it, and suddenly we were at 548 dps.

In about 10 minutes, our damage had more than doubled, which was perfect timing. Because another 4 boss ritual was waiting for us. Surely this one would finally make us move. Be real, did you actually think this challenge was going to start like this?

Because I definitely didn't. This almost feels illegal. Do not call the cops. It's at that moment that I was asking myself why I didn't make this challenge hardcore. It's just the easiest build ever.

We went from 0 to over 1.1k subs last video. Thank you so much. If you're enjoying this one too, please consider subscribing. That out of the way. There was only one thing left in Act 1, Count Geonor. I had rushed through the entire act.

I had not farmed for a single second, and I was still under level. So I figure this would finally be the real test. Nope. I haven't seen anything like this before. We stunned him at around 75% HP, and before he could even phase out for the first time, what the fuck?
