Jesus never lived. Jesus is a mythological figure. >> No. There's over 25,000 manuscripts. >> Revelation 22:13. Jesus identifies himself as I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. >> You are announcing to the world that you would not date yourself. You're describing yourself in the form of a woman. Irregarding the wave man.
>> These women are running around. >> It's going to be AI robots with no conscience that will gun these people down like pigs. But being an adult means paying for your kids. Even if you don't have sole custody, even if you don't have partial custody, >> you're going to get humiliated even more just like your prophet did. I'm going to humiliate your religion. I'm going to humiliate your God and your prophet right now. Again, so let's continue to talk. Look, you were born a man.
>> Yes. You know how much money I had to spend to look like this to be accepted by society. Over 100 grand. >> If that's hair, what's this? The uglier hair. No, it's not ugly hair. What you have is probably the same thing a doll has. If you according to you in Islam, you can marry and have sex with a girl who's not menrated.
>> Would you be willing to $50,000 that there's some scientists that said human beings went one step? It was fish and then gave birth to homo sapiens. That is what >> genetic testing we could see like the whole family tree of all life on earth can be traced through genetic tests.
>> Have you seen it in your life? >> I've seen it in the textbooks freshman year, high school. >> So there's more proof on the existence of Jesus than there's proof on the history of Julius Caesar. name one of those manuscripts. There's a lot of white people that have actually gone through historic injustices like >> two group people in their stomach that actually could make the civilization possible.
>> Yeah, but dogs can do that. >> Dogs make civilization. >> Well, they give birth, too. Like it's not that big of a deal. >> So Jesus here, as you just admitted, unqualified, claims to be the first and the last. >> No, you're not letting me do anything. You keep interrupting while I'm talking, so you should check it.
>> Go ahead. I'm going to start using that. The shank means shut the up. That's what it means. >> It doesn't seem like you even have a criteria of what a corruption is. At first, hold on just one second. At first, your your criteria was a commandment that you don't think is good or godly.
>> Look at you. You sadly man, skinny arms. Look at that. By the way, physical look at your look at your collar and you are talking about me. Out of safety. >> Yeah, you are. >> You say that they use a landline. Yeah, Richard Nixon was on a landline, but the astronauts were not on a landline. It's cuz they hooked it up to the radio.
>> So they were talking over the radio which went through to his So you just lied. You just lied. >> We're in a closed loop. We're in a closed firm per I don't think they're human or they're taking cues from something that's not human. >> This guy needs >> But do you realize I'm not Now he's mad.
>> Now he's mad. >> Question. doesn't look live.
>> Uh, welcome everybody. This is Shaman Omar here with Sean Kelly dig digital social hour. We have an debate. Excuse me. We having a debate about Paul versus Muhammad. We've got two of the best imaginable. I'm looking at a delay in the screen. On my left here, we have our friend, the Orthodox Muslim, Libyano.
And on our right here and your left, we have Vocab Malone, who's rebranding as Cab Malone, taking the position of Paul. We're live. Send in your super chats to be uh so that way they can be answered uh sooner than later. Get your super chats in. We welcome you. This is going to be a very mildly moderated debate.
We're going to let these two gentlemen have a discussion and uh the audience will win. So, which one of you gentlemen would like to >> I'll set the stage. about this earlier. >> All right.
>> Paul continued the message and mission of Jesus. Muhammad did not. Uh, one of the biggest ones there is Paul preserving the message and mission of Jesus. Muhammad not really doing that.
So, for example, right here. Okay. For example, >> Paul quotes uh Jesus a number of times. So, he had access to the sources. For example, the words that Jesus gave were the bread and the cup on the night he was betrayed. His commands against divorce, the fact that workers in the gospel can receive money if they if need be, that that you should eat the food provided to you. So, if we get deeper
into this, I have the references from Paul's writings and then also from the gospel later on. uh how loving your neighbor fulfills the law, how you should love your enemies and not retaliate, even the escatological elements. So he speaks about Christ returns like a thief in the night, the command to watch. These are all words that Paul is preserving in various ways.
And so he faithfully represents the words of Jesus as well as the actions of Jesus. So he he gets his biography right. descended from Abraham, descended from David, born under a woman, woman under Jewish law, identifies him with Nazareth. Uh the fact that John the Baptist preceded Jesus, he knows his brothers, he knows the apostles, the fact that Jesus lived sinless and selflessly, that he took the role of the servant and yet is king. the fact that
his disciples traveled from Galilee to Jerusalem and the fact that he was condemned in Jerusalem and tried before Pilate crucified and died before sins that he shed his blood that he was buried that he rose on the third and that witnesses saw him as well. So these are places where you have Paul showing what Jesus did as well and we have multiple sources that back up what Paul
said and it shows he's in line apostolic continuity and that's really the second element. So we have that he preserved the message and the mission whereas Muhammad did not and I want to give the pro reasons first before the contra reasons. The A is apostolic. So yes, it's apostolic acceptance, but since I understand that Muhammad couldn't directly immediately have that, we'll make it apostolic continuity. Of course, it is both best seen in the fact that Paul does receive the right hand of
fellowship. The fact that he is at the Jerusalem council, you have all these elements that work together. one of the gospels authors. You have Luke then writes Acts and shows this plus Paul's own letters plus large variety of early church witness which if we get into that I got a bunch of uh examples from that.
So you have this apostolic continuity from the original followers to Paul. So there's no break in the mission. Whereas not only does Muhammad come later but it's a radically different message and mission. Uh he doesn't preserve it. He doesn't speak like the apostles preach.
The apostles charurrima as the scholars call it is centered on the cross. The most central message that the apostles proclaim is directly denied in the Quran. It just gets worse from there. Then there's the element of understanding. So you have preservation, you have the apostolic succession or acceptance we'll say or continuity. You also have the you the understanding.
Time and time again we see Muhammad not really understanding what g who Jesus was, what he was about or his mission. Whereas we see Paul directly in line with that from the big thing the cross to even little things. Baptism is an element. Uh you just go down the list and you see okay Paul gets this and it makes sense that he can read the languages that he can speak to people who knew him. He has access to all these
things. And lastly would be life. When we talk about life, you see Paul following Jesus's moral instruction. You see Paul repeating Jesus's teaching on divorce in 1 Corinthians 7. You see multiple places where it's Jesus says this about retaliation and non-retaliation. And Paul gives that as instruction in the churches again and again. And he is sure to designate or differentiate when he is something he is saying something or he has a direct
command on the matter. He doesn't make up something. Jesus spoke on circumcision. So here's about he doesn't do that because the records show Jesus didn't really speak about circumcision but so he doesn't insert something into Jesus's uh ministry that he didn't say.
He says Jesus didn't say this. Here's what we say in a situation. Whereas in the Quran, you see multiple places where words are inserted into Jesus's mouth that a lot of times come from legendary sources such as Jesus speaking as a boy or from the cradle or Jesus is essentially acts as a pyic against Christian understanding of things. It's an insertion that is foreign uh to what Jesus ever said. And he has different rulings. He says he's in continuity of
the prophets, but he says all kinds of things you can do and not do that that are the opposite. little things like wine. Jesus turns water into wine. He's okay. Muhammad says, "I forbid that." Or whale whale meat. Even Muhammad, eat some. You're allowed to eat some. That's not allowed under Old Testament law.
Now, if we understand that we're in a new covenant, it makes sense that Paul is explaining the new covenant rules and regulations, which are different. And so, that makes sense under Jeremiah 31, the prophecy of the new covenant. The challenge though is if Muhammad changes something, he doesn't have access to an understanding theologically of something called the new covenant. So if we see we're in the new covenant and Paul is saying here's how it is now in line with Jesus bringing the new covenant that makes theological sense. There's
continuity. Muhammad changes things but doesn't have access to the new covenant. So it doesn't make sense. So I'll wrap it up there. Preserved, Apostolic continuity, you understanding and L life. And that spells Paul. Well, you ended with an acronym.
>> Yeah. Although it's structured, the idea is debates are education so people can remember. That's the idea. So they can say, "Oh, I'll remember that when I had to have this discussion." So that's where I would start the conversation. >> No worries. Thank you so much. Uh I just want to mention that um as you guys already know, I'm very sick today.
