what I'm going to do is head up the pass here I forget how many miles it is but it's a pretty good climb and at the top are some great old railroad trestles that you get to ride across

thank you

thank you foreign

foreign foreign Rocky climb starts

this gets ridiculous from this point but we'll see oh this is Rocky ah if I got this to look forward to for the rest of the week this is going to be a

crazy ride up

thank you foreign

foreign foreign

foreign

thank you foreign

I'm glad the GoPro has uh image stabilization because this footage would be literally a unusable about that

I think it might just be this one bank so we're gonna walk it what's nice about this is we wanted any traffic up above us it's great

thank you thank you

by the time we're to the top will be over 12 000 feet we started out at nine thousand feet a little below nine thousand feet down by the uh place that I parked I think we were at 8 800. so several thousand feet climbing foreign

has a walk mode too we just hold down the uh minus button it'll uh power the motor just at a walking speed feeling like snow things like that definitely helps a few hikers and bikers come through here lately

open once we get past this we're gonna be good oh that's slippery it's warm enough that it's really Mountain if I let go my bike it'd be all the way down there home I'd end up all the way down there to where

quite the ways up and fortunately where several snow Banks passed where any of the Jeeps or or other vehicles can get to so I literally have the top of this mountain to myself so uh what a what a great day to come up here this is absolutely beautiful

so I'm remote enough and completely on my own back here nobody else is coming by so because of that I'm just writing at a very uh sensible speed here and I'm gonna try to avoid all the obstacles so I don't have any mechanical problems

foreign

yeah we got some big rocks here but we got a little bit of a path because I don't wanna

break anything we're gonna walk it

this is kind of a hairy little rock slide here foreign wow this is amazing let's see if I can do this one-handed and show you

wow okay so this is the old train tunnel here it's actually very short it just goes through um just the very edge of this hill and this part we're not going to be able to ride but we are going to try to walk it because the railroad trestles that we want to get to are right on the other side of this tunnel so we're almost there

you can clip this back on look at this View man we're up in this huge Bowl it's a hundred plus years ago the old steam drains were chugging up here I've never tried to maneuver a 85 pound bike up anything like this

is not a steep little climb though I kind of don't wanna lose momentum here going again this is crazy

boy this is steep we're halfway there what's up now regular mountain bike and just pick it up and hike with it but

nice nice okay come on keep walking nice yep that was the first one we came by and we wrote up here's the second one we came by these guys out here

there is one ATV that is been able to get through I don't know if it was those kids down below for somebody else um but so far I haven't seen anybody since we crossed that first snow bank okay so we uh made our way down the

other side here which is what you can sort of see of Trail here that's a hell of a climb down man that's deep so we're on the side of the Hill here above the lakes and we're finally uh getting close to where we can hop back on the trail

so they keep putting all these uh barriers in to try to keep the Jeepers out
